Nigeria has over 30,000 primary health centres offering free care. Only 21% of Lagos's PHC catchment population used one in 2025. The barrier is knowledge, and that gap costs lives.

Founded in February 2025 by a physician working inside Lagos's public health system, Healthified is a Christ-centered, Africa-focused social enterprise built on one conviction: the generation that can prevent the next wave of preventable deaths in Nigeria is already alive. They simply haven't been trained yet.
We meet young Nigerians in secondary schools, develop them through a six-month fellowship, and send them back into their communities as certified Health Giants, equipped to prevent, educate, and respond.

Building on outreaches already conducted at LASUTH and Massey Children's Hospital, we're preparing to resume regular hospital visitation and prayer support for patients, launching once SHAP Cohort 1 is fully underway.
HealthRoots: health education, where students already are.
A free, one-day health education and screening outreach for Lagos secondary schools. Run bi-annually, at no cost to the school, for every student in SS1 to SS3.
What Students Learn
Malaria prevention, hygiene and sanitation, nutrition, mental health awareness, substance abuse prevention, and how to find and use a PHC in an emergency.
Free Health Screenings
Blood pressure, BMI, blood glucose and cholesterol, offered to school staff. Conducted privately, with a referral letter issued for anything needing follow-up.
How a Visit Works
2 to 2.5 hours, built around the school's own timetable. Every student leaves with a wellness card. All materials and equipment provided by Healthified.

SHAP: Student Health Advocates Program
A six-month fellowship for young Nigerians aged 16–24, ready to become Health Giants. Free. 30 spots. Cohort 1 begins the last week of October 2026.
